Wuxi Vanke Jade Oriental

How to insist on using time and space carving traces to interpret the semantics of the project, so that the solidified music of the building can be played gently into the hearts of the people? In the Wuxi Vanke Emerald Oriental Project, through continuous exploration of contemporary living and lifestyle, we use orderly spatial sequences and geometric language to convey clear architectural emotions, and integrate the local culture behind the project into the daily living experience. , Redefines another possibility about residence.

As the carrier of living space, the functionality and experience of buildings are far above the architectural form. The total area of the project is 108,000 square meters, and the plot ratio is 2.3. If traditional design methods are used, the community of superimposed and western-style houses will become the first choice. However, in the design process of the project, we hope to create a unique and more livable garden-style community. After continuous experimentation and exploration, the final project is presented as a full high-rise and small high-rise community.

As a result, we were able to return more land to the public living space, creating an interesting concept of "building a house in a park". This enables each element in the project to achieve the maximum function display, and brings practical ecological experience and place resonance to every resident.

Overlooking the emerald east, the large axisymmetric design resembles the traditional oriental appearance, and the central axisymmetric design gives her a magnificent sense of solemnity. The project arranges community lobbies and urban living rooms along the central axis, and connects the community gardens through suspended masses and gentle slope sinking courtyards to ensure the continuity of the axis. On the whole, the layout of the building is a symmetrical structure, and it is designed in a form that resembles the axis of symmetry.

The 54-meter-wide and 9-meter-high large-scale community pedestrian lobby adopts the treatment method of public building on the residential facade, which is full of majestic atmosphere. The entrance of the community lobby adopts a 2.4-meter-wide and 4.8-meter-high copper door with a variety of lines, which is very modern and three-dimensional, reflecting the dignity of the entire community.

The interior of the lobby has a large span of 8 meters in height, which shocks the senses and creates a sense of ritual of returning home. At the same time, the project builds a 284-meter community supporting business along the street, which improves the living supporting facilities while ensuring the privacy of community life.

The overall overhead treatment of the space on the first floor of the project brought the core landscape of 12,000 square meters in the central axis of the entire community into view. The front of the suspended urban living room is enclosed by 31 standard glass modules to form a curved surface. The processing method of the hidden frame makes the entire curved surface form a sense of integrity, which echoes the community lobby.

The community lobby and the urban living room are connected by an arc-shaped veranda, and the 3m high and 1.2m wide metal edging stone modular walls are arranged at an angle. The Chinese element screen is used to distinguish the house landscape from the veranda functionally, which not only ensures the privacy of the owner’s activities in the house, but also separates the house landscape from the atrium landscape, forming a landscape corridor that is viewed as a ridge and peaks on the side.

The sunken courtyard with luxuriant aquatic plants, the large-scale house park and the community forest in the distance are shaded by trees. The three themes of the entire central axis are unobstructed and unobstructed, and they are scattered and scattered, creating a strong sense of space. At the end of the landscape axis, the space with the theme of "forest" is used as the node, forming a complete foreground, middle and background system, and at the same time further enriching the landscape diversity of the entire project. Ten landscape systems with different tastes are scattered throughout the project, making Wuxi Vanke Emerald Oriental no longer cold, but full of vitality and life. A few clumps of withered grass, a pool of still water, scattered rocks, or a piece of green grass, a row of tall trees, and a few pedestrians, this is the urban garden created by the project.

The thick and noble stone, the transparent and bright glass, the novel and conciseness of the copper-colored aluminum plate, the magnificence of the large-scale community lobby, the agility of the suspended urban living room, and the artistic conception of the urban community garden are the project's interpretation of modern life; Wuxi has plums, inlaid Yu Pane, extracting the lattice elements from the traditional architectural language, fully applying them to the composition of the building facade, further perfecting and supplementing the Chinese design concept at the architectural texture level, is the project's memorial to the traditional culture. The collision and integration of traditional and modern elements creates a picture of life. This is what we want to leave to every household.

Throughout the design process, the project breaks free from formal constraints and interprets our living space from the inner spiritual level. By strengthening style characteristics, creating differentiated and recognizable places, creating livable and unique life scenes, and making people live The model living space is presented, and the community is no longer isolated, but sympathetic and symbiotic.
